Earlier this year I had the honor of photographing Sally and Deans wedding at the Orokonui Ecosanctuary.

This was the first opportunity to photograph at this location. I was so looking forward to it and even scouted out the location the day before.
With bright sun and beautiful blue skies, I picked out some lovely spots for photos.

With Dunedin’s weather being the way it is we ended up with the most magical, misty, foggy day that laughed in the face of all my preparation !

It was amazing.

Thanks Sally and Dean for having me to capture your wedding day.

It started out a little bit cloudy with little drops of rain at First Church and ended with beaming sunshine through the trees at Larnach Castle.
I do love a castle wedding.

Oh my…….. that gorgeous dress!

Hope you enjoy having a look through Sarah and Brent’s wedding.

Sarah’s dress was phenomenal, so much beautiful fabric! She was super organised though and had a smaller skirt to change into for the reception. No room for Brent in the back, he had to take the front seat.Just a few visitors to the castle when the wedding party arrived, (two cruise ships visiting Dunedin)Brent may have taken the dip a little too far for Sarah.
He was the perfect gentleman though (after a bit of a laugh) he helped his Bride to her feet. The Ball room was looking so gorgeous! Glittery and gold.As I was heading out the door the sun finally decided to come out and I couldn’t resist one more quick shot for the day.

Late in January Nicola and Kerry had the privilege of photographing Dave and Deb’s wedding.

The weather at Grandview Gardens was stunning, as was the location.

Dave and Deb’s siblings formed the wedding party – so on Dave’s side were his five brothers, and Deb was assisted by her two sisters.

(NB when six brothers assemble,  all activities turn into some sort of competitive game !)
You’ve got some fun Christmas Days ahead
with the Cameron family Deb.

It was a stunner of a day, with two pretty awesome people tying the knot.  Family and friends shared a very special time together.
Enjoy a glimpse

Kerry and Nicola

the scene is set – with views of Saddle Hill

….. and then there were straws drawn to see which brother would be the usher

the light up in the forest was stunning, as was the subject material …..

when you ask five brothers to ‘ping’ the person closest to them’s braces – mayhem, and no holds barred !

speeches that shared about love, family, care and being together

a wonderful end to a great day!

Very excited to share one of our first weddings of the year!

Brittany and Jemal were married at Larnach’s Castle early in January.
The weather held together for a wonderful outdoor ceremony in front of the castle and we had time to wander around the beautiful grounds and capture the lovely couples first moments together as husband and wife.

I was lucky enough to stay for some great speeches from the families and to witness the first dance and cake cut.
Then something very special, Brittany surprised us all with a beautiful song she sung to Jemal!
We even got to sneak out afterwards to get some photos with the sun setting.

Thank you so much for letting me capture your wonderful wedding day!
Congratulations Jemal and Brittany!

Sarah and Ant were married recently at Larnach Castle.

They chose Dunedin for its exciting weather options, beautiful castle and charming locals – all of which performed on the day !

Enjoy a view of their very special day.
